Well, looks like the proverbial defecation has finally hit the propeller with Andrew Shirvell, the Michigan Attorney General's employee who was targeting/stalking Chris Armstrong, young University of Michigan openly-gay student, which I talked about in a previous post of mine (to the effect that this Shirvell must be in the closet to be doing something like this). Shirvell’s closed down his blog (probably to keep Mike Cox, the AG, from reading any more of it!) by allowing invitation-only access. It seems Mike Cox has suspended him and Facebook has some pages defending Chris, one of which ("Fire Shirvell") had a friend count approaching 10,000 the last time I checked. I’ve put my two cents in comment-wise that I think this Shirvell could be a genuine danger, and I hope Chris gets the protection order he seeks in court.
As usual, non-U.S. media seems to get more close to the truth of the matter , as exampled by this from “Asia News":

Locally in Michigan and at Huffington Post it becomes more politically correct.** “I’m a Christian citizen exercising my First Amendment rights,” Shirvell told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “I have no problem with the fact that Chris is a homosexual. I have a problem with the fact that he’s advancing a radical homosexual agenda.”
Of course Shirvell is a Christian fanatic. He’s also dishonest: browse his blog and you can tell he is just freaking out over the fact that Armstrong is gay…it’s all he talks about. He’s a militant radical gay activist who hates God, Christians, the unborn, and wants to have gay sex with everyone but Andrew Shirvell. **
Some of the Facebook Commenters have pointed out that Shirvell may be in violation of Michigan law and have called Shirvell’s rants an illustration of the how the Christian Right practices “convenient morality" . I suppose we all practice our morality selectively to some extent but it’s worse when you’re acting like a Pharisee.

Love your signatures! Shirvell will be fired.
I think so too...he cannot represent for discrimination when he is so discriminatory himself.
